"The valley out near Mt Cook is one of my favourite places on earth.
Last time I was there it was minus 7 Celsius and my fingers were hurting so much. This time it was 24 degrees with a hot air blowing.
Looking up at the glaciers felt quite strange. But if you look closely there was a slight bit of the southern lights left over that was lighting up the sky.
There was nobody around and the perfect place to shoot night time stars.
Heading to the Abel Tasman tomorrow for some ocean time." @purenewzealand #seanscottroadtrip
